In the mid-80s during a time of prayer, God revealed that Romania was the country in Europe where Max was called to serve. Within weeks of the wall of communism collapsing, Max was traveling back and forth to Romania. While in Romania, he always ministering in underground churches as the country was being rebuilt.
In 1993, Max and Becky moved as a family to live and serve full time in Romania. Their ministry currently operates a campus on 65 acres of land just south of the capitol city of Bucharest. The campus serves as the base for the ministry with New Creation Church meeting on Sundays, prayer meetings throughout the week, a Bible college, special conferences and local community humanitarian work.
In late February of 2022, Reaching Romania has opened it’s campus to be able to house, feed and minister to hundreds of Ukrainian refugees fleeing their home country.
